Traffic Monitoring With Drone Camera Started For The First Time In Pakistan

 Lahore: For the first time in Pakistan, traffic monitoring and surveillance using drone cameras has started.

Traffic monitoring with drone camera was started experimentally on Mall Road in Lahore. During the drone monitoring, roadblocks, protests and alternative route plans were reviewed.

CTO Lahore Muntazer Mehdi reviewed the drone monitoring during the Mall Road protest. SP Traffic Asif Siddique, SP Shahzad Khan were also present on this occasion.

CTO Lahore said that he observed the road engineering problems with the drone camera. Violations of smoggy vehicles and one-way traffic will be regularly monitored.

Mantaraz Mehdi while announcing the formation of Traffic Monitoring and Surveillance Unit said that initially drone monitoring will be done on Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road and Deermadal Road with drone cameras. Drone technology monitoring will improve traffic management.
