Washington: (Dunya News) Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the United States have condemned the assassination attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
It should be noted that in Wazirabad, PTI Chairman Imran Khan's container was fired upon, in which former Prime Minister, Senator Faisal Javed and PTI leader Ahmed Chatta and others were injured.
According to the foreign news agency, the White House said that Pakistan condemns the attack on Imran Khan.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said that the attack on Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan is unacceptable.
In a statement on the social networking site Twitter, he said that the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his supporters is unacceptable, I strongly condemn this violence.
The Canadian Prime Minister said that it has no place in any society, democracy and politics. I pray for the speedy recovery of Imran Khan and other injured people.
Officials of the European Union in Pakistan wrote on the social networking site Twitter that they are in shock after the attack on Imran Khan and his colleagues. Violence is unacceptable in any case.
