San Francisco: Apple, expressing its interest in satellite communication, has received a patent for its smartphone, under which it will be able to connect to the normal cell phone network as well as the satellite phone.
According to some technology analysts, the Apple company has obtained a patent on October 7, in which extraterrestrial communication is to be used in the same way as terrestrial communication. This suggests that Apple's next iPhones may have satellite connections. According to the patent, these connections can also be direct.
The patent shows that Apple's next devices will have transmitters and receivers that will be able to communicate with satellites like terrestrial networks.
