Major Responsibilities:

Under the applicable policies of the Government of Pakistan and under the overall guidance of the Board, the CEO will discharge, but not limited to the following functions:

Formulate goals, objectives and strategies to ensure short, medium and long term success of the Company.

Exercise all powers vested under the Companies Act, 2017, the Memorandum and Articles of Association and the E&D Rules ofthe NTS.

Have overall responsibility to the Board for the general management and control of the business activities, assets and other affairs of the NTS.

Identify the principal risks to the Company's operation and implement appropriate system to manage these risks.

Keep the Board fully informed of all significant operational, financial and ancillary matters relevant to the business of the Company, including legal, regulatory and government policy developments.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

 Maximum age limit at the time of appointment will be 65 years.

 Must have minimum eighteen (18) years of education (duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan) in any of the following fields: Business, Management, Engineering, IT, Sciences and/or allied disciplines.

Candidate should have at least twenty (20) years of gradually progressive experience in management and leadership. Out of this, minimum 8 years' experience is required in senior management and for leadership position.

NTS is looking for a visionary albeit pragmatic leader who is well conversant with the work ethics and with the principles of administration and has a good understanding of the key issues of the business and the industry.

Candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate is also expected to have a good grasp on the planning, organizing, budgeting, monitoring, team building, setting priorities and motivating people.

Candidate must possess pleasant personality and an unblemished career profile.
