Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients:

  • Flour two cups 
  • Salt one quarter teaspoon 
  • Dry ginger powder one teaspoon 
  • Baking powder one teaspoon 
  • Baking soda half teaspoon 
  • Ground cinnamon one teaspoon 
  • Brown sugar half a cup 
  • Egg one 
  • Vanilla essence one teaspoon 
  • Tablespoons of margarine or four tablespoons of butter

Baking Instructions:

  1. Put flour, ginger, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and baking soda in a clean dry bowl and beat well with an electric beater. 
  2. In a separate bowl, add egg, brown sugar and margarine or butter and beat it. 
  3. Then add flour little by little. Mix the dry mixture. Wrap the kneaded dough in plastic and keep it at room temperature for at least one to two hours. 
  4. Preheat the oven to 190C and grease a baking tray and line it with butter paper. 
  5. Preparation Take a thick chapati ball by sprinkling dry flour in the prepared dough and cut it into the shape of a gingerbread man with the help of a cookie cutter.

  6. Place the prepared baking trays in the oven and bake them for eight to ten minutes. 
  7. Remove the trays from the oven but do not remove the cookies from the tray until they are completely cooled.
  8. Place the cookies on butter paper and lightly Apply sugar syrup then decorate with the desired items to make the kids happy.
