The national squad will leave Christchurch for Brisbane on October 15 to participate in the U20 World Cup.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the national squad will arrive in Melbourne on October 20 after playing two warm-up matches in Brisbane, while captain Babar Azam will participate in the photo shoot of the trophy with the captains of all the teams in Melbourne tomorrow. will

The national team will fly to Melbourne soon after winning the tri-series final in Christchurch, where Shaheen Shah Afridi and Fakhar Zaman will also be in Brisbane on the evening of October 15, while team mentor Matthew Hayden will join the national squad tomorrow night. 

Dr. Javed will join the national squad as the second physio along with these two players.

On the other hand, the national team will play its first match in the T20 World Cup against traditional rivals India on October 23 in Melbourne.

The national team will play their first warm-up match in the ICCT20 World Cup against England on October 17, while the second match is scheduled against Afghanistan on October 19. 1:30 and 8:30 am will be played.

The national team will play 5 group matches in the mega event while starting their regular campaign against India on October 23, which will be played at the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Earlier, in the T20 World Cup played last year, Pakistan had defeated the traditional rival by 10 wickets.

The next match of the national team will be on 27th and 30th of October against the teams included in the World Cup Qualifier whose names have not been finalized yet, both these matches will be played in Perth.

The Green Shirts will take on South Africa on November 3 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, after which Pakistan will play their final group match against Bangladesh on November 6.

The semi-finals of the mega events are scheduled on November 9 and 10, while the final of the event will be played on November 13.

On the other hand, ICC has also announced the prize money of T20 World Cup 2022, the winning team of the mega event will be given 1.6 million US dollars i.e. 36 crore 22 lakh rupees in Pakistani rupees.
